Unable to conceive


David and I were married for about 6 years when we decided to have a child. I went for a check up and discovered that I suffer from endometriosis – a condition that prevents me from conceiving or induces a miscarriage from a conceived womb.

I went for endoscopy and had 10 months of treatment. My husband also had his fair share of treatment too, but to our dismay, after all the money spent and the stress that we had to go through, I was still not able to conceive. It was at this point which we felt that though medical science fails us, God will not!

We went down on our knees and seek the Lord earnestly, asking Him for a miracle of life. Indeed, praise His mighty name that one and a half months into our prayer, I conceived! Even the gynaecologist was taken aback by this sudden turn-around of my condition, as he once claimed that it would take a miracle for us to have a child.

Now nine years on, our daughter Chloe has grown up healthy and joyful. She has now received the Holy Spirit. We thank Him for such a provision and that He never fails!
